Iāve overcame an eating disorder, disordered eating, an obsession with exercise, and hating my body. Years ago, I thought Iād always be controlled by food somehow ā counting calories, keeping food out of the house, and always making the āhealthyā alternative ā which just led to me being out of control and the cycle continued. As years went by, I realized I didnāt need a tracking app or another diet, all I truly needed was to reconnect with myself.
I truly believe that once you uncouple yourself from food, let go of the guilt and shame, and lean into better understanding of nutrition and the way food feels within your body, youāll view food and yourself in a whole new way.
