Iā€™ve overcame an eating disorder, disordered eating, an obsession with exercise, and hating my body. Years ago, I thought Iā€™d always be controlled by food somehow ā€” counting calories, keeping food out of the house, and always making the ā€œhealthyā€ alternative ā€” which just led to me being out of control and the cycle continued. As years went by, I realized I didnā€™t need a tracking app or another diet, all I truly needed was to reconnect with myself.

I truly believe that once you uncouple yourself from food, let go of the guilt and shame, and lean into better understanding of nutrition and the way food feels within your body, youā€™ll view food and yourself in a whole new way.
